We’re excited to share our latest podcast featuring Esther Thane, Executive Director of ET Music Therapy, and a trailblazing music therapist who has specialized since 1996 in working with neurodivergent individuals and those with diverse needs. Esther has a rich background, including over a decade on faculty at Capilano University and a renowned certification in Advanced Vocal Psychotherapy from Dr. Diane Austin’s NY center. She’s the creator of Meet In The Music© (MITM), a globally used curriculum, and her pioneering Vocal-Led Relaxation method helps children with autism and other unique needs. Esther has been honored with several awards for her advocacy and innovation, including the Iconic Women Creating a Better World Award and the Canadian Association for Music Therapy’s Peer Recognition Award. She also serves as VP of UnitusTI’s Mental Health and Diverse Needs Cloud.
